Can you believe…..

It’s Friday and I actually have plans tonight! I’m going with my daddy, Roberta (his wife) and my grandma to the zoo! The Columbus Zoo has wildlights. They have it all decorated for Christmas! Roberta asked me if I wanted to go with them this morning when I emailed her to tell her that she had Avon. She always tries to include me in things. I’m so happy about that! I think that I’m going to take my camera with me. Talk to you all later!

Today has been a great day!

I swear I work with some great people. I was taken to lunch today. I drove the two guys from the mailroom to Wendy’s and they bought me my lunch for driving them. The one guy felt bad that I didn’t have money for lunch. They are so nice here. They invited me to attended their Christmas eve pot luck and everything. I miss the girls that I used to work with but these guys are just as nice. I’m kinda glad that I came over here to work now, just don’t tell my boss cause I really put up a fight about coming here.

Another thing that is great is I actually was able to find out where our seats are for my Michigan race. Andi and I have more friends coming with, plus I was getting tickets as well for someone at my work. I was hoping that we would all get to sit together and when they asked If I just wanted the seats next to our normal seats. I was like wow those are open, I’ll take them. That means we all get to sit together! It’s only 8 months,1 week and 2 days till we leave! Yep just a little excited:) lol!

Other than that not much else is new here. Oh ya we got four inches + of snow yesterday and they are calling for 1-3 more inches tomorrow. Yep it’s down right cold!!!

Wednesday Caution Lap #1

1. Who is your favorite driver and why? Dale Jr., because one he’s a great driver but two he knows how to handle himself with the media! I also like how he cares about his fans as much as he does his racing. That to me means a lot!!!
2. Who would you consider the best NASCAR driver in the series right now and why? Right now I would have to say Jeff Gordon. He has the most championships and MANY wins.
3. Who do you think out of the new rookies from the past few seasons (Hamlin, Ragan, Montoya, etc.) will come out to be the next big star of NASCAR? My opinion it would have to be Martin Truex Jr. He has already proven that he can be a Champion in the Busch Series. I have a feeling he may go a long way. He does know how to wheel a race car!!
4. Are you loyal to your favorite driver’s sponsor? Yes I am. I’ve already tasted AMP and it is really good. Mt. Dew has always been a favorite of mine as well.
5. What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought to show your love for your favorite driver? It would have to be probably one of my many die cast cars!

My life officially stinks!!!

Ok so I Christmas is coming up and I’m so broke. I looked at my bank account and due to the fact that we had to put yet another $190. into my husbands car on top of the $1800 we already put into it two weeks ago I have no money at all. Looks like every bill will be late this month. If I could I would go get a second job but with the stupid hours that I work I can’t get one. Where as my husband is home all afternoon but says that we don’t need second jobs. I’m not sure where he is getting that from. I’m just afraid that we will get gifts from people and I won’t be able to give a gift back. We drew names for his family and I’m not sure that we can get those two gifts. I swear life is so unfair!!

 Overnight here we got about two inches of snow. Everyone here though acts like they never seen snow before. They make it sound like we had a blizzard or something. All the schools are closing and accidents are all around. People just won’t slow down and take their time. Which reminds me I have to leave a little early for work so I gotta go get ready to leave.

Sorry it’s been a while……

Let me start by saying that Ohio weather so sucks!!! It was thundering and lightning here tonight. It’s December!!!! I so can’t believe that. It’s 52 now and by 7am it is supposed to be 24. Wonder why everyone is getting sick?!?!?

So yesterday I finally got my laundry some what caught up. All I have left is towels but I have plenty clean still. I only had about three weeks worth to do. I also started my Christmas baking. I made cookies yesterday. I tried making no bake cookies today but I don’t think that they turned out right. I don’t eat them but they are a little too soft. Hubby says that they are fine.

 Friday I watched the NASCAR banquet. It wasn’t really that good. I guess since Junior wasn’t there again it kinda stunk. I know that he will be at it next year though! I still can’t believe that he is with a new team now. Man I have a feeling that Daytona is going to be strange this year for us Junior nation fans. The first time that you see him in that #88 car, man that will be something!

Well gotta go put my gooey no bake cookies away!

Yesterday Junior received the “Most Popular Driver” award for his 5th consecutive time. Even with the hectic year that he’s had us fan showed him that we will still stick by him!!

Baby Hunter

I’m an Aunt!!!!

Tricia (my best friend) had her baby! She had a healthy baby boy just after midnight today. He was 7 pounds 1 ounce and 19 inches long. Both Mom and baby are doing great. I hope to have pictures really soon! His name is Hunter David!

Christmas

Well today I was able to finish and mail my Christmas cards!!! Yippee! Although now I’m broke again. They charge way too much for stamps.

Tonight we are going to visit Pete’s Grandma and take her some dinner. The only thing is she likes White Castle’s. So that is what we are suprising her with. For those that don’t know what White Castle is they are little hamburgers (about two bites) loaded with onions. They are nicknamed “sliders” cause they slide right down. Most of the time they are the best after drinking, not sure why but they are. She knows were coming but not that we are bringing her Sliders. She will love us forever though. No one will ever eat them with her except us. I think I’m going for a chicken sandwich though.

As a member of Junior nation I have to say RIP Sean Taylor. For those that don’t know Sean played football for the Redskins (Junior’s Favorite Team) and was shot yesterday morning during an apparent robbery at his Florida home. He passed today due to complications. Please Keep Sean’s family (he leaves behind a girlfriend and 1 year old little girl), friends, fans and teammates!
